Position Overview
The Zones Sourcing Manager is an experienced IT channel leader and procurement professional who will bridge gaps between operational groups, maintain clear records of Zones policy and procedures as it relates to Supply Chain, and train and onboard new team members to reduce the new hire learning curve. Reports to the Director of Strategic Sourcing.

- Negotiate with suppliers/vendors to secure the best overall price considering (price, availability, payment terms, shipping, return privileges, timely delivery, etc.)
- Identify and onboard new distribution partners to expand Zones product offerings for clients
- Collaborate with PPM to ensure client teams get required presales support from partners
- Develop, engage and maintain alternate sources for constrained and allocated products
- Execute analyses and make suggestions for improvement of overall sourcing strategy
- Work on large RFPs for multiple clients to drive best TCO for Zones to win opportunities
- Maintain strong inter-departmental relationships to help facilitate achievement of assigned goals
- Communicate professionally and build relationships with manufacturers, suppliers and other external sources
- Cost management through sourcing cost reductions, rebates, extended payment terms, distribution warehousing, ship on demand order placement and distributor/mfr. program utilization
- Standardize Supply Chain processes across global locations
- Streamline the internal RFP process to improve TCO and external RFP process to win opportunities
- Develop program to train, upskill, and onboard new hires and existing Supply Chain team members
- Standardize Supply Chain processes across global locations
- Training and onboarding process for each Supply Chain area to improve SLAs
- Increased spend through preferred distribution partners with reduction of direct vendor relationships
- Coordinate training and onboarding of new Supply Chain team members through creation of training documentation
- Improve points of process overlap between teams within the larger Supply Chain
- Facilitate the standardization of processes to global Zones teams Develop and maintain policy and training documents for use by broader Zones team including Sales Enablement
- Manage relationships with Zones preferred distribution partners
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems
What you will bring to the team:
- 5+ years of supply chain and procurement experience in enterprise-level IT solutions/VAR channel required. Previous experience at an IT distributor is preferred.
- Serious analytical skills to identify business trends, develop strategies, and model expected benefits. Excel skills a must.
- Personnel management skills to build team and individual skills and job satisfaction.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interact well with and present to internal and external groups.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency and excellence in a dynamic and fast-paced growth environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Postgraduate business degree and/or supply chain/negotiation/procurement certifications a plus
Qualified candidates can expect at salary range of up to $120,000.
